GENERAL QUESTIONS

  1. What should I wear to the concert?

    There is no dress code for PSO performances, but many attendees dress for the after party (jackets and ties for men, festive attire for women).  Business casual is always acceptable, and if you prefer to enjoy the performance in jeans, that’s acceptable as well.
     

  2. Am I allowed to bring food to a concert?

    Refreshments are sold by the PSO Junior Board at intermission. No outside refreshments are allowed.
     

  3. What happens if concerts are cancelled due to bad weather?

    Cancellations due to inclement weather are posted on our website and on our Facebook page and a recording is placed on our telephone number.  If you have any questions about the status of a performance, please check these sites or call 908.561.5041 for a recorded message.
     

  4. Can I purchase tickets to the after party at the concert or at the door?

    We encourage attendees to purchase tickets to the after party in advance or RSVP to pay at the door.  Day of tickets to the concert after parties are usually available, but we reserve the right to limit ticket sales based on the size of the venue.

QUESTIONS ABOUT SUBSCRIPTION TICKETS

  1. What is "reserved seating" at a PSO concert?

    Reserved seating refers to the first six rows of the audience, so you may be seated with your friends.  We request that you arrive together so that you can be seated together, rather than “holding a place” for later arrivals.
     

  2. My friends and I want to be seated together. Can we do this?

  3. When will my subscription tickets be mailed?

    Season subscriptions will arrive approximately 3-4 weeks before the first concert if you have purchased that far ahead.  Season tickets may be purchased at any time during the season for full price if you wish to consider that a donation to PSO.
     

  4. Can I purchase additional tickets through the season?

    Tickets can be purchased throughout the season if seats are available.  Reserved seating should be purchased before the season begins, if possible, since most season tickets are requested for reserved seating.
